Unveiling Designs by Heather

I cannot begin to express how pleased i was with my makeup that heather did for my recent big day. She was able to take the pinup look and modernize it for today. It made me feel confident and glamourous! I would use her again in a heartbeat!

I wanted to write this review to say how wonderful Heather was as my makeup artist for my big day!! First off, I am a licensed cosmetologist and I used to work as a makeup artist and even did all my bridesmaids makeup for their own weddings and special events. It is really hard for me to trust others to do my makeup and I usually was never ever truly happy when I let others do my makeup. However, for my own wedding I knew I really wanted someone to do my makeup since I did not want that pressure and this would allow me to relax and enjoy the morning getting ready with my girls. I had a trial with another very good artist and was just so disappointed. I immediately sent friends some photos from the trial and they said it wasn't very flattering for my features. About to give up hope and do it myself, I decided to contact Unveiling Designs for a trial. Heather had such great energy and was a true perfectionist. I was ready to get married right after the trial. I felt absolutely beautiful and my friends agreed. The day of the wedding she arrived perfectly on schedule and although super early, she was professional, upbeat, and made me feel relaxed. 3.5 hours later, I was excited with the results! I LOVED everything. Heather and her team went above and beyond and helped us with those little last minute things like putting on jewelry and making sure details looked great. I'm so glad I met Heather! She created a look for me that felt like a more glamorous me that I will likely never be able to recreate. I asked her later for some of the products she used and bought them immediately. If I have another special event one day, I will be sure to contact Unveiling Designs by Heather!!!

Heather's work is amazing! She has true passion for her work. She makes you feel comfortable and beautiful all at the same time. I can't wait to sit in her chair again sometime!

It has been truly a pleasure to have worked with Heather on what have been the most important days of my life. I initially hired Heather to do my make-up for an engagement party that was being thrown for (at the time) my boyfriend's brother. It was a high end affair and the first time I was going to meet his entire family. I was nervous about the party and if I would fit in. Heather transformed me into a beautiful woman that had the confidence to walk into that party knowing I looked put together. Years later that boyfriend became my fiancé... I decided that as my wedding gift to him I would have professional boudiour pictures taken. Heather was the first person I called after making the appointment. I needed a miracle worker to get me ready for this scary and vulnerable adventure. Not only did Heather make me look sexy and sultry, but she talked me into feeling that way as well. The pictures came out beyond my wildest dreams and I not only had an amazing and personal gift for my fiancé, but I had something that captured my beauty and sex appeal for the rest of my life. I never would have gone through with it if it had not been for Heather. Wedding time!!!! The day I had dreamed of since I was a little girl. I am a perfectionist and in my mind I knew how I wanted the day to look, but really did not have a sense of how my bridesmaids and I would look in regards to hair and make-up. Normally this would send me into panic mode, but knowing that Heather was taking care of all four of us in regards to make-up I was able to relax and not question how we would look. Heather took my breath away with her skill and talent when it came to my bridesmaids. I cried when I saw them. They were beautiful and truly fit my vision. Then it was my turn and what she was able to do my stressed out skin is nothing less than a miracle. I looked radiant!!! Heather is professional, punctual, talented and a little bit of a perfectionist, but above all she loves what she does and it comes through on every face she touches!!! She will be part of my arrsinal for beauty for the rest of my life!!!!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Heather is. From the moment she arrived, (Early) and set up, she was very organized and thorough. She had everything from the trial all ready and waiting, plus a variety of other colors just in case the weather had changed, or the lighting had changed, or for any other bridal emergency. She kept me calm, worked quickly and very cleanly, and made sure that she created a look that was not only unique to me, but was up to her very high standards. Heather kept her time schedule impeccably, and really made sure that I knew my happiness and look were here priority. She is an amazing artist, working with both the style of the dress and hairstyle to make the whole look come together in the best way possible. She is worth far more than she charges, and is the best makeup artist I’ve ever worked with; her perfectionist ways show in her work, and my makeup looked flawless for hours upon end. I recommend her to everyone I know and I plan on using her for my maternity shoots, and our new family portraits, and any time I need to look like a million bucks! Take heart new brides, you won’t be disappointed and you will feel absolutely gorgeous when she is done!

Heather is an amazing artist. She knows just how to make you feel your very best when it counts the most, your wedding day. Heather did my makeup for a trash the dress session, but would have had her do my wedding makeup in a heartbeat, but with travel/date conflictions, it just wasn't possible. Thats why I was over the moon when she signed on to do my makeup for my trash the dress session. So much fun! Heather makes you feel like you have known her forever and has a really calm, easy going vibe that really helps with stressful pre- photo jitters. Heather will take good care of you and all you have to do is remember to keep smiling!

As soon as my husband proposed and we landed back in the states-I called heather and asked if she was available to do our wedding. I had 8 bridesmaids, my mom and myself that all needed makeup done for the big day...poor Heather. Normal brides would hire 2 artists to tackle such a huge task but I wasn't about to take any chances. Heather arrived 30 minutes early, assistant in tow, and got to work for 6 hours straight!!!! She absolutely NAILED it and everyone looked GORGEOUS. My makeup lasted the entire night annnnddd the next day as well ;) I looked amazing for my mini-moon the following day! I fully recommend heather for any event!!

Heather was a wonderful addition to my wedding, besides her amazing makeup skills she became my unofficial wedding planner. Her ideas were creative and professional. She truly made my day perfect...even though it rained and we were planning an outdoor wedding. Her makeup skills were miles beyond anyone else I had a trial with and I'm grateful I choose her instead of the woman who was still using blue eye shadow. I met Heather through a friend, who highly recommended her. This about a week before my wedding, and I was unable to do a trial run due to the timing. I emailed and talked to her on the phone with the ideas I had for the look I wanted on my wedding day. On the day of my wedding was the first time I was able to meet Heather. I was truly amazed at the wonderful work which she accomplished on both my mom and I. She is truly an artist.

Heather is a makeup goddess! After having a terrible trial with another makeup artist, Heather came to the rescue and exceeded every expectation I had. Not only is she an absolute doll and pleasure to work with, she really knows her stuff. Heather is very personable and made me feel at ease at every step. She is also very open to suggestions but I didn't need to make any because she made be so beautiful! Heather handled my wedding party with ease - which was no easy task! She had 7 bridesmaids, a flower girl, mother of the bride and me :) Heather is a true professional and I will definitely be using her services again and recommending her to every engaged gal I meet!

Heather was absolutely wonderful. I appreciate all that she did for me and I felt so beautiful on my special day. Heather was very professional, on time and her patience and calmness during the chaos in the morning was soothing. I have recommended her to other people who have used her for weddings and other functions and they have had great experiences with her also. I would again recommend her to anyone.
