I first heard of Stella through my matron of honor who had been helping me with finding various vendors to do my hair. As the wedding was a destination wedding, I thought that it would be extremely difficult to find one. After coming across Stella's information, I contacted her right away. She was very responsive, helpful, and very professional. We were able to schedule a hair trial while I was in town. I brought samples from magazines and described to her the style that I had envisioned. The result was AMAZING! On the wedding day, Stella arrived on time and did my hair beautifully (and it held up pretty well). She also did a couple of the bridesmaids' hair (with no previous trial) and both of them were also very happy with the results. Besides being the best at what she does, she was also such a pleasure to work with. With that said, I highly recommend Stella!

Stella is an amazing hair stylist. She is personable, calm, professional and extremely helpful in making the big day go smoothly. She went out of her way to follow up in every way and accomodate our wedding team.

Not sure what else I can say that hasn't been said already... Stella does great hair, but here are the things that I think differentiate her from the competition: 1. VALUE. For a bridal updo that will last the entire day + evening, I couldn't find more affordable prices in the Sonoma area. Stella offers great service, so why pay more elsewhere? Also, I got a $30(?) discount off a trial run when I mentioned I found her on Project Wedding (go check out her information over there to see if it's still up). 2. FLEXIBLE. You'd be surprised that there are some other hair stylists out there who don't like it when you change your mind about how you want your hair done... Stella encourages it and wants to make sure that you're 100% satisfied with how your hair comes out. Between the trial and even on the day of, we were able to hammer out the details exactly how I wanted my hair to be, and it looked absolutely perfect! warning: i will say that you should treat the trial as just that, a trial. it's a time for the hair stylist to figure out what works and what doesn't on your hair and it won't turn out exactly right. i was actually a little disappointed after the trial, but stella continued to email me back and forth to make sure we came up with a plan for the wedding. she will make sure you find something you're happy with as well! 3. PERSONALITY. She's so calm and easy to talk to and puts you at ease on what could potentially be the most stressful day of your life. She even calmed me down and gave me a great tip on how to fix my nail polish when I totally ruined it the morning of... THANK YOU, STELLA!!!

Stella was wonderful to work with! We are from out of state, so I didn't get to meet her until the morning of my wedding. She was very accomodating, came to where we were staying, and did hair and make-up for me and my bridesmaid. She was friendly, personable, and made us feel comfortable, while still being professional. She listened to what we wanted, and both of us loved our hair and make-up! I would highly recommend Stella!

Stella was great! We didn't have time to do a trial so she used a picture I found and did it above my expectations! Everyone raved about how amazing my hair was!

We just got married in Geyserville in November and Stella did an OUTSTANDING job with everything!! She had 8 appointments between myself, bridesmaids, and mothers, and everyone was so happy with their hair. They all looked beautiful at the wedding! Stella is also just a delight to work with - I did a trial run at her salon in Santa Rosa and ended up tweaking a few things on the day of the wedding. She did a great job of listening to everyone's ideas about how they wanted to look - and actually made them happen in a way that left everyone feeling great! If you're looking for someone to make you feel beautiful and perfect on your wedding day...stop looking because you found her!

Stella was able to transform my vision into reality on my big day. I LOVED my hair for my wedding. It was exactly what I hoped for - even better. Stella is incredible to work with. She is patience, honest, professional, but really fun at the same time. I recommended her to my wedding planning and I recommend her to anyway who wants to look incredible for their wedding.

Stella is absolutely amazing! She did such a wonderful job on my hair for my wedding, it was exactly what I wanted. She was extremely flexible by coming to me for the trial run as well as the day of the wedding. She did a great job on my mom and mother-in-laws' hair as well and was able to get everyone done in a very reasonable about of time. Stella did an amazing job styling my hair for my wedding. She used my extensions, curled, and braided my hair. She was so attentive and professional. I was flying in from out of town and she was so flexible with me! I would highly highly recommend her to other brides. I am a makeup artist and work in the business myself; Stella is very talented and her prices are very reasonable!

Stella was fantastic! She was flexible and affordable for the quality that she offered. She is so sweet and really easy to work with. On the day of the wedding things were so crazy with everyone needing something from me at the same time and she hung out and waited until it all died down to finish me up. My bridesmaids were all doing their own hair and they were having some issues with "fly-aways" and Stella had no problem adjusting them so everyone looked really polished. I would definitely use her again!

Stella was AMAZING! She was so calm the day of the wedding. She listened to the other women that were getting their hair done and made beautiful lasting up, half-up, and blow-outs for the gals. I was so pleased, as a bride, with the way she infused the desires of the gals with the overall look of the day. As far as my hair, she was prepared with images and notes from our trial. She was on-time, profesisonal, and respectful of the day's schedule. I loved her!

Stella does unique and beautiful work. She's realistic about what style your hair can really handle. She did a super custom job for me (bride) and a terrific job for the rest of the wedding party....each with a completely different style that they each loved. Great stylist with fabulous style, and warm personality !

Stella Stevens is awesome! I had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair for my wedding, other than have it off my neck in something that wasn't a french twist. Without missing a beat, Stella dove in and created the PERFECT up-do! Simple, elegant, and totally what I wanted, Stella made me look amazing! Plus, she was super friendly and sweet, which made the entire experience extremely fun. And, she's affordable. In other words...book...her...now!
