What can I say about Grapevine Catering but that they were amazing and awesome! The food was fantastic and they hired the best wait staff. Everything went as planned and Amy was a great contact. She rememebered every detail we discussed and had her team provide excellent service. I know our guests really enjoyed the food- they ate every last bite! I would highly recommend to anyone wanted a class act catering company!

Grapevine Catering Company supplied us with great catering for our wedding. The planning process, tastings, and the event were great. The chicken was delicious and was moist as could be. The vegetarian summer squash ravioli was amazing. The creamy polenta was to die for, when the chef came to ask us how our meal was my bride asked for more polenta and he brought us a heaping pile of the delicious goodness. Things I wish had gone differently were that: I wish our steaks were cooked medium rare rather than medium. I wish they would have packed our leftovers and an appetizers for each of us for us to take home and for them to pack us up a piece of cake. (We never got to try our cake except for our one bite we feed each other). They were really quick about cleaning up and swiping up plates, some guest complained that they weren't done but the catering had taken away their plates too soon. I also wish they had recommended us to order more appetizers. I felt like guests were starving at that point and were like wolves when they passed them around. My maid of honor/sister is still pining for her taste of all the appetizers. At the end of the night I wish I had explained in more detail what to do with the extra wine and beer. And that I wanted to save the beer bottles from our homemade beer. (We had some weird guests that thought the extra alcohol was a a gift for them to take home.)Overall I would highly recommend Grapevine Catering Company.

Chef Chris, Jennifer and their team at Grapevine were beyond professional -- they were caring and careful. They attended to every detail and produced a completely beautiful event (and one in which my mom and myself were free to enjoy without worry). In addition the food was beautiful and produced with conscience. I cannot imagine working with a better team!

Grapevine was one of my favorite vendors! Jennifer is amazing and such a great person to work with. She was so responsive, had a great suggestions and very patient even though we had some last minute changes. Grapevine was the second catering company we tried and were a breath of fresh air after the stuffy, less accommodating company we tested before them. The food was awesome during our tastings and shockingly, even better at the wedding. Everyone raved about it afterward and said it tasted like an expensive meal from a restaurant rather than wedding fare- exactly what we had wanted. The staff was also superb and no-one's wine glass went unfilled at ANY point throughout the evening and the food was plated and served to everyone within minutes. They even brought appetizers over to the bridal party as we were taking portraits so we didn't miss out on the insanely good meyer lemon crab cakes! I cannot say enough about how wonderful they were. BOOK THIS VENDOR!

Great catering service. Food was exceptional.

I didn't actually choose Grapevine, they were the preferred caterer for my venue (Ramekins). The food choice wasn't really that important to us in the whole scheme of things...we just wanted something there for people to eat. We chose a tri tip and a salmon dish, with mash potatoes and vegetables on the side. At the tasting, we thought the food was really good and were surprised at the quality of the food compared to the cost. And on the day of the wedding the food was even better! As we walked around our reception, we noticed almost everyone's plates were completely empty, down to the last morsel of food. It was wonderful! The best part is that we were able to do a served meal instead of a buffet for the same price as most places charge for a buffet. I would definitely use them again - they did a really great job.

Worth every penny!

I cannot imagine Anita C. had food from the same Grapevine Catering. I booked Grapevine for my wedding on Sept. 12 and the food was FABULOUS. I am an SF food snob and will complain at the drop of a hat about bad wedding food. My husband and I wanted amazing food for our wedding and certainly were not disappointed. We even had people asking for seconds. The most important part of the review is regarding Jennifer Thompson. What a rock star! This woman helped us more than she was required. She was the most amazing coordinator we could have asked for. The staff was very professional and I didn't have to worry about a thing. They are expensive but worth every penny!!!!

They have the best food and more importantly they have good service.
