D'Groove Band

I saw D'Groove at a wedding I attended in 2006. I was so impressed that when I got engaged, they were one of the many vendors I contacted. Their manager Franz Palencia was extremely difficult to contact and deal with. I went to their website and sent 2 messages via email and called twice within 2 weeks. When we finally spoke, I found the information Franz emailed me would contradict with what we discussed over the phone. Thus, ALL communications was via email to ensure everything was in writing. Franz would take days, at some times weeks before responding to my emails. At one point, I tried contacting another member of the band to deal with, but he directed me back to Franz, "the band manager." When it came time to discuss details of the wedding, Franz would ask the same questions making feel unsure of D'Groove. I constantly felt like I had to repeat myself to make sure that Franz understood my needs and the time/itinerary of the wedding. At the wedding, the band did not start right away and had to be told to start. As a band, they were GREAT! They were able to provide 3 services (Band, DJ, and MC). The band was able to keep people on the dance floor. They played Soul and R&B music, which is what we wanted. They have VERY talented singers and musicians. However, dealing with Franz Palencia was one of the worst parts of my wedding planning.

d'Groove made our wedding reception vibrant, energetic, and a memorable event for all those attending! Each musician brings great talent to their ensemble and our DJ and MC kept the party going. We did not want the party to end! We could have not asked for a better group of entertainers! Everyone is still talking about our band!

They were the hit of the wedding and we're still hearing raves about them.

D'Groove did a fantastic job at out wedding, our guest loved them! My fiance and I were back in forth about getting a band or a DJ, but in the end the bride always gets what she wants. The one thing that I really really love about this band is they learned some of the Bob Marely songs for our wedding. We have no regrets and would recommend them in a heart beat.

We were happy with the band. They have a great sound and professional to work with.

D' Groove was one of the major highlights of our wedding. We had originally seen them perform at one of our friend's weddings. We instantly knew that we wanted them for our special day.
