ALAN is a Multiple Award Winning Hollywood Make-Up Artist. 

Transplanted to the Northern California Napa/Sonoma Wine Country area, ALAN utilizes his award winning make-up techniques for  Weddings, Special Events, Personal Consultations, Make-Overs or Private Instruction.                               

From Marin to Healdsburg; from San Francisco to Sacramento  --  Over the past 10 years, ALAN has created wedding make-up illusions for hundreds of brides adding his special touch of glamour to weddings all over California, the East Coast, Hawaii and even as far away as Japan, creating cosmetic illusions with all ethnic groups of all ages.   

A Multiple Award Winning Make-Up Artist, ALAN is the recipient of an Emmy Award and two Emmy Award Nomination; a Cable Ace Award nomination and a Clio Award for BEST MAKE-UP FOR A COMMERCIAL, 2001.

In Hollywood, ALAN supervised the make-up for Motion Pictures and Television shows, creating unique make-up styles for celebrities, Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Jessica Parker, Hillary Swank, Diane Lane, Kirstin Dunst, Teri Hatcher, Alicia Silverstone, Brittany Murphy, Alyssa Milano, Calista Flockhart, Brooke Shields, Barbara Walters, Barbra Streisand, Susan Sarandon, Missy Elliot and Cyndi Lauper.

ALAN is an International Lecturer, Teacher and Demonstrator for numerous cosmetic companies. Licensed by the State of California as a Make-Up Instructor, ALAN has been sought-after as a Teacher and Director of Education for various make-up schools. ALAN is part of the faculty at Sonoma State University Cinema/ Theater Arts Department and also teaches at Santa Rosa Junior College.  ALAN also instructs physician referral patients in post surgical cosmetic applications and lends his knowledge and abilities to the American Cancer Society's “Look Good...Feel Better” program and has recently been added to the listings of Preferred Vendors for "WISH UPON A WEDDING," an organization that provides terminally ill  individuals, without charge, their `Dream Wedding'.  

ALAN is a member of both the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the  Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
